Before the start of our academic year, we had charrette week that involved different student from architecture school to work in group to experiment in a creative open environment. The main idea is to give new impulse to the building economy.

We reused different material that were discarded in the renovation of Claremont tower to create something that would create memories for tower. Our project “More than once” that was based on the idea of reuse, recycle or up-cycling building material created a different perspective on looking towards different materials. The idea was to create something more SPECTACULAR that would create an impact on people.

In a small frame of time you can learn about uses of materials in different ways. Creating small boxes to build a huge tower was difficult process yet we were able to achieve what we had thought about. Charrette will always be a best process to learn and interact with the people and it gets more challenging when you work as team with students from different background.
